Review of Escape Alive
Considering the price I would have expected more, 20 minute tour around a small section of the castle, not very scary, the "story" of the red and white witch didn't make much sense. The venue is stunning and there's so much more they could've done for the event. Extremely disappointed over all, wouldn't recommend

Review of Escape Alive
Far too expensive for a 10 minute walk through with barely any actors. No actual scares, just move to the next room and be told a bit of a story or have one actor speaking to you. Absolutely rubbish! Everyone came out at the end and said “is that it”. The Dungeons franchise is scarier and isn’t advertised as a full scare maze. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t return.

Review of Escape Alive
Extremely disappointing! Queued up longer in car waiting to park than it took to walk through the actual event.
It could've been so much better as the location is amazing. Our group could not believe it when we finished and were asking was that it! It was hyped up and made to look a lot better than it actually was.
We did the twilight session and it was not very scary at all and all over before you know it. Costumes and actors were okay but for nearly £100 for 4 of us we felt majorly ripped off! Food was extortionately priced - paid £15 for 2 lots of cookie dough!
We travelled well over an hour but we were in and out within 30 minutes.
Would definitely not recommend at all. Will go back to Scare Kingdom next year as you get your money's worth and it is actually good fun.
Avoid!!

Review of Escape Alive
The venue is a good choice and had lots of potential. However, you had to pay for parking and we had to go on a grass bank where our cars got stuck and not proper instruction on where to go. The queue to get into the walkthrough was longer than the walkthrough itself and it didnât have a proper story (there was also no ending to it) and it wasnât remotely freaky or scary. When we got out the other side without realising it was already over, there were only a couple of overpriced food vendors and there were no funfair rides as advertised and we were not informed of this (I had to ask where they were). Overall so disappointed and so not worth the money.

Review of Escape Alive
Firstly the actors were amazing. I felt the set up / story of the "escape" was short and not as scare jumpy as I thought. The very last bit was how I hoping the while thing would be. When got to the end I found my self saying 'was that it' so was very disappointed. I would happily seen less on the courtyard and more put in the scare itself.

Review of Escape Alive
Absolutely awful event, you’re in and out of the whole experience in less than 20 minutes. You spend more time queuing to get into the event than actually inside there. Also avoid being at the back of the group, the actors only focus on the people at the front, or person at the front should I say! No interaction with the people at the back whatsoever.. car park staff also extremely rude, wouldn’t waste your time or money on this awful unorganised event…

Review of Escape Alive
Lovely location, but overpriced, was rushed throughout the tour, had to pay for carpark and the food venders had no prices advertised, and was shockingly expensive. Certainly would not recommend or visit again, which I a real shame as I’m local to the Area.
